“The March of Time”

The message below is from our friend, Lynne Monroe. TMS was privileged to work with the folks at Whole Life Health Care help them adapt the former Louis deRochemont home into their medical offices. The youtube link is to one of Louis’s short films about Exeter in the 1940’s. It is worth watching if you have 12 minutes. It is a wonderful time capsule of a much more innocent past.

Enjoy

Hello! Today a friend sent me this link, probably not knowing how much I care for this film. I’ve seen it on the big screen at the IOKA, and I own a copy in video tape format, which I’m not sure I can play anymore, here now, here it is accessible to share and watch any time! I absolutely can’t believe that this is on YouTube!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I thought I’d share it with some other folks who may not know that it is available. It is a very special window in time, made be Louis deRochemont, a nationally known filmmaker from Newington. Turn back the clock to those sweet old days of yesteryear…………………….
