One of TMS Architect’s projects, Regeneration Park, was recently named one of fourteen winners in the 2011 Building New Hampshire Awards announced at an awards breakfast held in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on November 2, 2011. According to Kathy Poggi , a producer of the awards program and a principal in Seacoast Ink, “The winning entries were selected in recognition of their work to build, remodel or retrofit an energy-efficient, high-performance residence or commercial building. The award-winning projects were designed and built to minimize their carbon footprint and impact on the environment.” Regeneration Park was a recipient of an award for a commercial remodel and retrofit project for its conversion of a former Toyota dealership on Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, NH into a sustainable, multi-use green office, restaurant and retail building.
By spotlighting these progressive members of the New Hampshire building community, it’s our hope that others will follow their leads,” commented Poggi. “Through their commitment, they’re making New Hampshire a more sustainable place in which to live, work and play.”
