This small 1200 square foot commercial space has undergone a major transformation to accommodate Provident Bank's branch bank expansion into the historic downtown of Newburyport, Massachusetts. This highly crafted interior was designed to respectfully draw its inspiration from Newburyport's illustrious seafaring past. The curved mahogany tellers' counter is reminiscent of the craftsmanship which inspired Newburyport's Yankee Clipper ships of the 18 th and 19 th Century. The attention to interior architectural detail has created a warm, inviting space with a decidedly human scale.
