TMS designed the restoration and adaptive reuse of the former Portsmouth Police Station. The original building consisted of substandard office space, jail cells and district court space. The completed project resulted in a restored exterior with high quality interior office space. The former diminutive side yard building access was transformed into a handicap accessible and welcoming entrance in a manner that compliments the historical importance of the building. A large addition was added at a later date to house several downtown Portsmouth businesses.
