Project: The Music Hall Loft, Portsmouth, NH

The Music Hall Loft opened its doors in April 2011, providing the City of Portsmouth with a 124 seat, "cabaret" style theater. The 5,670 sq ft space, located at 133 Congress Street, is a "hip hangout spot" for existing and new generations of art enthusiasts. Opening its doors into the heart of downtown Portsmouth, the new venue beckons passersby with large inviting windows. Guests can now admire the modern sleek decor in the lobby and the multipurpose performance space. With finished concrete floors, original concrete masonry unit walls and exposed ductwork, the Loft exudes an upscale light industrial feel.
The lobby combines ticket sales, a full service bar and a galleria where images of Music Hall legends are on display. The Loft also houses the Music Hall's offices for program development, marketing and operations in spaces designed for this use on the theatre's second level.
