Project: New England Renovation, New Castle, NH
Industries: Residential Inland
Situated on a lovely site in a small New England town, this house, from the 1920's was a challenge. There had been several additions over time that gave the house a disjointed appearance. To unify the home, the new floor plan called for a complete restoration of the second floor and opening up rooms for comfortable family living spaces and casual entertaining. The kitchen area opens up to a new family room so the children can play within view, or guests can make a smooth transition from a counter serving area to the seating area. The result is classic yet contemporary with many traditional, formal elements.
