Me & Ollies is committed to bringing wholesome and healthy foods to the Seacoast area. The company was grown out of the owner’s love of bread making and has now developed into six cafes throughout the Seacoast area. If you have ever been to one of the Me & Ollies you know how amazing their bread is! The secret? Wheat specially trucked in all the way from Montana.
Our roots literally begin in the fertile grounds of Northern Montana home of our organic wheat. Big Sandy, Montana is home to our farmer [affectionately known as Montana Bob] and to the farms where the world’s best hard red wheat is grown. This wheat is trucked to us across the country 45,000 pounds at a time to its destination: Me & Ollies Bakery in Portsmouth, NH. Here we mill the wheat berries into fresh flour resulting in the best tasting most nutritious bread available. – Me & Ollies
TMS Architects is thrilled to have worked on this wonderful local spot. We were asked to help create a space that reflected the style of other Me & Ollies cafes while creating its own individual character. The colored flamed wall and slanted bread racks were new ideas conjured up for this specific space and certainly some of the most eye catching. TMS’s work on this project earned us an AIA NH Excellence in Architecture Award in 2004.
