Wine cellars aren’t the only at-home features for wine connoisseurs. If you are a wine collector looking to take your wine storage to the next level, you may want to consider a wine cooler.
Our team here at TMS Architects incorporated full-sized wine refrigerators into a clubhouse during our renovation and expansion of Salem Country Club. The project is a prime example of how these features can be seamlessly integrated into a design.
Established in 1895 in Peabody, Massachusetts, the historic country club is home to one of the most renowned golf courses designed by Donald Ross. The goal with the Salem Country Club renovation was to enhance and expand the current clubhouse floor plan and enrich the dining experience in the Ross Dining and Grill Rooms.
Our team of architects and designers came up with a custom wet bar design that seamlessly integrates two full-sized wine fridges into a dining room. These temperature-controlled fridges allow the country club to carry an even wider selection of fine wines for members and guests to enjoy. The convenient drink station also makes it easier for the Salem staff to provide excellent service while adding beautiful architectural interest to the dining room.
A full-sized fridge may seem like a challenging appliance to embed smoothly into the home, but not with the help of the right professionals who can design and build a custom kitchen or home bar. These gorgeous kitchen and bars we came across online offer fantastic design ideas and inspiration for incorporating this modern luxury for wine lovers into the home.
This custom home bar boasts an authentic wine cellar feel thanks to a stunning combination of natural stone and dark wood while it also helps the wine to blend in so nicely.
Both food and wine fridges are symmetrically built right into the cabinetry of this rustic and eclectic, European-inspired kitchen. The custom design offers the opportunity to showcase exquisite craftsmanship.
Instead of another pantry, a full-sized wine cooler was integrated into this contemporary kitchen. The glass and stainless steel of the fridge adds to the sleek look and feel of the space.
For kitchens with less space, smaller coolers are the solution for high-tech wine storage. This uniquely eclectic kitchen features a custom island design with a built-in wine fridge underneath the counter.
