Architectural Digest just released its list of the most popular Pinterest pins of 2013, and House Beautiful also made sure to showcase their photos that received the most re-pins this year. We couldn’t help but be inspired, so we decided to share some of our own top pins from the past year. In case you missed them, here’s your chance to savor some home design eye candy from TMS Architects.
This gorgeous sitting area with breathtaking view was the most popular pin from our Details: Nooks & Crannies Pinterest board. We designed these expansive windows in order to immerse you in the view while incorporating warm woods to ensure welcomed coziness.
Featured in our Details: Cupolas & Weathervanes board, this TMS design of a New England shingle style home was a huge hit on Pinterest this year. The up-close shot of this cupola shows the incredible precision that went into each architectural feature.
This lake house entryway from our Details: Front Doors board caught the eyes of many pinners this year. Materials and colors create nice, subtle contrasts while the windows and portico work together creating graceful curves that echo beautifully.
A traditional fireplace and double doors leading to a sunroom within a lake house retreat in Mirror Lake, New Hampshire was the most re-pinned image from our Details: The Fireplace board. The snapshot perfectly captures the elegant woodworking and stunning stone surrounding the fireplace as well as thoughtful interior design touches like splashes of red.
This coastal home design by TMS Architects took the most re-pins award from our Exteriors: Curb Appeal board. From the rooflines to the window designs and the combination of materials, this New England home shines with artful eloquence inspired by the natural surroundings.
We were happy to see this photo a waterfront home receive the most attention in our Exteriors: Ocean Views board. This project ranked among one of our favorite coastal homes to design. We just love this balcony with its serene greens and Atlantic Ocean views.
